Close to Wrexham stands the busy market town of Mold, where there are two street markets and a livestock market every week.
It is also home to the main theatre in the area, Clwyd Theatr Cymru which has three theatres, a restaurant, licensed bar, a gallery and bookshop and an arts centre staging a wide variety of plays, films, music and other events, many featuring household names, and is well worth a visit. |
The town has a sports centre and no less than three golf clubs.
There is a Craft and Antique Centre at nearby Afonwen, and a Craft and Needlework centre at Pontybodkin. Greenacres Farm Park is situated a short distance away at Mancot, and has animals, pony rides, tractor and trailer rides, and a bouncy castle with refreshments.
