Prestatyn

Prestatyn is a fun-packed, lively resort with three long sandy beaches.

Its main attraction is the Nova Centre - a fabulous entertainment complex with a 25 metre pool, helter skelter water slide, toddlers pool, poolside bar and conservatory. It also has a banqueting hall and a large health and fitness studio.

The safe and sandy Ffrith beach features an indoor bowls centre and donkey rides.
Nearby is Barkby beach where you can experience the real excitement of the sea with sailing weekends organised by the local sailing club.

There are also two golf courses in the Prestatyn area, and a sports centre with squash and tennis courts, and a solarium.

Prestatyn marks the northern end of the Offa’s Dyke footpath, which runs along the old Welsh border to Chepstow in South Wales. An interpretive centre at Central Beach features an audio-visual presentation on the history of the Dyke.
